Oogoe Diamond Confession Video Personality Check!

okay, as the title shows,
today will be about the bonus confession video from the Oogoe Diamond album
first of all, the main topic would be about whether the members looked at the camera
at the beginning of their turn or not and the inferred conclusion.

now first conclusion, the thing that determines whether the members would look at the camera at the beginning of the video or not is the maturity of them members. take example of Maimai, yukarin and Nozofisu. the three of them can be considered the "seniors" and thus is matured in age and experience, shown through the courage of looking at the partner even from the beginning of the confession. (alternatively, look means those who made PB....LOL nah, not all)

now for the special individuals, "SaeYaka"
Akimoto Sayaka - such a brave character, a straight look in the eye, telling you that she's real serious, as for Sae, though started behind a glass wall, she ran through the other side of the glass screen and even more, shouted, showed such a brave character through the shouting, as for the running shows that she's energeticly enthusiastic

Tomomi Itano
tomochin! she starts with a lazy kind of position on the table, could mean that she has just finished her study session with the partner, and feeling tired (the scenario). looked at the camera, and said "daisuki" (damn, that's straight) after confessing, she stays there, giving a beautiful smile, we can see here that she's prepared and not shy, and the way she confessed gives out a casually composed atmosphere

Oshima Mai
confession starts with a standing pose, smile on her face, whilst looking at the camera, there was a pause, then, "daisuki" the unique part is that after confessing, she smiled a bit, the put up a sad kinda face, this could mean that after confessing, she is doubtful whether she was accepted or not, maybe she's the type that "prepares well, delivered excellently, post-performance nervousness"? LOL, but with the hand held together in front, and with the source of light coming from behind (window), she chose the perfect spot for confession

Oshima Yuko
Yuko satrts the confession, moving about, spinning from left to right, giggled a bit, definitely a sign of nervousness, but she delivered the "daisuki" well, and then looked down and smiled with an "OMG i actually did it!!" kind of look. though showing signs of nervousness (lots of em) she did the confession quite well, probably the "moving about, spinning from left to right, giggled a bit" were preparation to gether courage and say "daisuki" with composure, but she ran out of courage after that, and lost focus on the main topic? but the confession's great

Erena Ono
She put a great effort in her confession, she probably brought the partner to the class and made him sit down on a chair (the scenario) and she wrote "daisuki" on the board and drew a heart-like thingy. she then said "daisuki" with a smile. true, no nervousness was shown, BUT. unfortunately, her effort was kinda wasted, she could've just moved a bit to the right (our right) so that she dont block theheart picture, and them put up a "jaan!" kind of pose to show her effort while saying "daisuki" nevertheless, it is delivered well.

next, Tomomi Kasai
she starts with walking towards the opposite of the camera, and halfway confessed, this may show that she is very shy, so, while walking away from the partner, would give her a chance to escape after the confession...>.> (ok, maybe not, but again, it's only an inferrence...)

Kashiwagi Yuki
aka yukirin. confession started with the camera looking up, and no one was in it, suddenly, she comes running and popping on one side of the screen, the unique part is, after saying "daisuki" she bows to get a clear view of the partner and stays there...probably waiting for a reply? this does show determination and courage, she confessed, without showing any embarrased or shy feelings, she stood there, waiting for a reply. damn, this IS serious

Nozofisu,
though true, she started the cofession with a look in the eye, furthermore, a repeated "daisuki"
however, ended with her, running away from the camera, first possibility is that she just somehow picked the wrong time to confess, and was in a great hurry (the scenario) or could show that she wasn't sure or wasn't satisfied with just one "daisuki" but ended up being shy for repeating it and ran away.

Kitahara Rie
now, she began the confession video, looking the right (our right) side of the window, outside. and suddenly jumps down and says "daisuki" and stays there. her looking outside the window, could be that she wants to dramatize it. however, the effect could have been greater if she were to do it slowly and calmly. but still, hersmile beats all the problems, in my opinion the partner would be stunned, (or maybe more to petrified) because of the surprising approach, and though it's not that drama, surprise is one good choice too^^, oh and when she jumps down, she closes up on the partner's face, creating more nervousness??...LOL

Kojima Haruna
one of the most unique ones, she started the confession looking down, putting up a sad and half angry face. first possibility is that harunyan and her partner just got into a fight and ended up with her confessing (the scenario) second, could mean that she's just soooo shy that she was too embarassed to put up a happy face, last possibility, Tsundere... that would be interesting...

Sato Yukari
she chose a nice spot for the confession, outdoor, next to the fountain, could be that she was walking together with the partner near the park, they stopped for a break (the scenario) though there is a disadvantage, the sound of the fountain kinda put a semi sound barrier, forcing yukarin to shout, but still, the straight look in the eye and the shouting proves courage

Shinoda Mariko
my view of her is still influenced by her role in the OD PV, she was prtrayed as a rich and glamorous student among all the others, and so this kind of confession could be tolerated because of that reason, she did not look at the camera first, showing a sign of shyness, she turned to the camera, says "daisuki" the cool thing is, she gave a serious look and giving the impression that she's composed, i guess she could be a possesive girl(?) but the serious approach would work too oh, andif you notice, she gave a cute little slight smile at the end, kinda something like "ah >.< im so embarrased hhe *cute girly laugh* "

Takamina
started with her looking straight at her desk, and only then confessed, the constant on and off look could depict that she's doubtful or that she's choosing a way to confess, supported by the whispering which exposed more of her shyness, this could show that she's kinda energetic on the outside but actually very shy inside (or maybe just for the case of love.)

Atsuko Maeda
acchan's confession is similar to rie's except if in rie's case, it's dramatization that turned into a surprising approach, acchan succeed to keep the drama effect till the end, as a bonus, a cute smile on her face. HOWEVER, it's kinda unfortunate that the duration was kinda short, it would be marvellous if she took more time looking outside the window, to further emphasize the drama effect, nevertheless, it's a great confession

Jurina
The SKE member, a little lack in composure shown through the swaying, and most important of all, a formal pose, hands on the back, and just saying "daisuki" maybe coz she's new to the SKE48/AKB48 world?

Minegishi Minami
similar to yuko, she gathers courage at first, showed by looking down, and giving off a sad kinda face, when she looked up somehow it seems to me that she gave a "forced smile" when she looked at the camera kinda saying "i better smile, this is a confession...smil...smile..." but she delivered a cute "daisuki" with a little nod and a mini "shoulder jump/bump" but she ended it while giving a "umm, are you listening?" kind of look. but still, it's uniquely cute^^

Miyazaki Miho
true, from the moment the camera caught her, she look at it, but it began with her hiding, could mean that she's kinda spying on the partner, waiting for the right time to confess, personality? ....hmm...strategist? careful planner but shy? but she damn well shouted in the end, which gives a plus point on bravery

Lastly, Watanabe Mayu
confessed through a gap on a bookshelf, similar to Myao, it could be that she followed the partner to the library, wait till she caught the partner's eyes, then confess through the bookshelf, why behind bookshelf? hmm...giving the partner less chance of catching and finding her if she were to run away out of shyness? LOL

Well, yet another one of AKB48's lead singer...
first of all, about the title, well, ill explain later on in the post why it is "the killer wink" no seriously, i died a few times lookin at it....
anyway, let's begin.
hairstyle, thanks to her ever changing and unique hairstyle, she was the easiest for me to spot. compare from the early days and now, 2006, the so-called "tall hair" style, you know like the back part of the hair's tied to create "side-ponies" to each left and right, for the back with a shoulder-length hair with a curly end which leaves the pony in front free. 2007, straight hair, (my inference) the area around the top of the skull is tied to create a large front pony that is towards her left side (HER left side, not ours). Jan,2008, back to the old hairstyle, difference is, for the 2006, the two "side-ponies" are adjusted slightly in front of the ear, well now, it is combined with the back part which continues to the shoulder, for the front part, the pony's back, with some "freestyle-cheek-length-hair".
in my personal opinion, her hairstyle, which, mostly (in my opinion) "large" would have something to do with her height, as some of you may know, she's 17 and she's 148cm in height, maybe (again, maybe) the "tall hair" style has something to do with the "height-support".

now, her performance on stage and in PVs, kinda redundant to ask aint it? she's the front line lady...just some infos in case you wanna know:
~Keibetshu siteita aijou PV, she's the first voice we heard when the song starts the "terebi no nyuusu ga tsutaeru.."
~First Sakura no Hanabiratachi PV, she's the girl in the centre when we first see the girls dancing in the beginning of the PV
~Skirt, Hirari PV, she's in the first closeup we see, and say, X represents Minami, O represents others, this is the formation of the bottom line of the members in the PV 00x000 which means, she's around the middle
~Aitakatta PV, acchan's starting to own the stage, but still, she's in the first closeup (during the song, not from the beginning)
~Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru PV, acchan's still owning, but still, she's the girl right in the middle when the dance in the tunnel starts
~BINGO! PV, when the song starts, she's in the first few frames togrether with acchan, but of course, she got the first closeup during the refrain, the "Bingo Bingo, anata ni meguriaeta" part
~Boku no Taiyou PV, not a first closeup this time, but look at the members' position in the dance, again, X as minami and O as others
the first 2 rows during the first few frames:

~Yuuhi wo Miteiruka PV, before the song starts, when there are backstage scenes of the girls, she was the first one spotted, practicing dancing
~Romance, Iranee PV, she was in the front line of the member position
~Baby! Baby! Baby! PV, she's the one who did the final "blow-the-tip-of-the-pistol" move.

She IS definitely one of the front members or maybe even THE front member, but in my opinion, as time passes by, other members are starting to rise, namely, acchan, kojiharu, korisu, these members may take over the role as a main singer, but let's compare, the Boku no Taiyou PV and the Yuuhi wo Moteiruka? PV, in Boku no taiyou, although minami is not the perfect front singer anymore (since the first closeup was taken by kojiharu and the second by acchan and even the third by kasai) but still, she is shown as the main "leader" from the member positioning, she was in the center part even after the song begins, as for Yuuhi wo miteiruka?, you can see that from the beginning of the song, which started by kojiharu's closeup, minami only got her closeup a few moments later. now compare these two with romance, iranee PV, just look at the front line in the beginning of the PV, the members are positioned, 4 by 4 in a straight line, and no more so-called leader, which means the member positioning and role distribution is getting better by the day, but still, takamina, with her amazing voice, and the mesmerizing beauty, i am sure she'll be in the front line for a long, LONG time^^

now, the last and certainly not at all, the least, part of minami's review, "THE KILLER WINK" word's arent enough for this, just let me show you the picture...

remember the PV preview of Baby!X3 from AKB48 0 ji 59 fun on 16 June 2008?
in that preview there was a scene when the girls walk up to the left and right sides of the frame (camera viewpoint) walking in a girly manner, leggs always cross each other.....
i just noticed something,
may be considered as a desperate guy not knowing what to do with my life,
but im just bored and counted the number of times their legs crossed.

Row 1:
~mayuyu: 1 and continues with no cross
~maimai 2, during the second step, the leg at the back sort of slide and slipped by a few cms..., oh, and her "walk" was a bit too exaggerated on the shoulder and hips movement so it kinda looked jumpy

~kojiharu 1.5, one cross then the second one is crossed a bit but not up to knee level
~mariko 3, oh my god, her crosses are the best.... full crosses, no mistake, perfect hip movements..

now, let's begin....
again, starting with the details....
from the closeups, i suppose y'all notice that there are some beautiful closeups in the pv. which unfortunately only for the main members i.e. the members in white coloured costume. if you notice, the members are not facing 180 degrees straight to the camera during the closeups, i suppose it's around like 35 degrees or so, and, logically thinking, if the camera was positioned higher than the members, it should create a shadow effect, however... look at this.

this, as you all may realise, is a screencap of Oshima Yuko from Bingo! PV
notice that this is captured from a closeup, and see? there's no shadow spotted eventhough the camera is positioned higher than her face. why? the answer is as shown in the picture below.

see the white ring in yuko's pupil? it reflects a ring of lightbulb that is giving out the light...
want some more proof?

here's one showing tomochin's closeup. see the "ring of bulbs"?

ANYWAY.....
i love the colours of the costume, white, green, red, yellow, pink, blue...
though i kinda dislike the discrimination shown where 74.8% of the whole PV was owned by those in white...

im amazed by their "punch" move during the "bingo bingo..." part, coz like they had to jump a bit to start the punch and they're wearing high heels.....

i looooove the closeups!!!!!

FYI, when i first time saw this PV, i couldnt differentiate yuko and erena, coz like im still not familiar, finally i just see that their hair ponies are different. erena's pony is towards right and yuko to the left^^

i love the part where there were lots of flashed pics of the members in prisoner kind of costume, holding their nameboards and puting up an angry face^^ oh my god....but again, only the main members (who were in white) get closeups...others just get like a 0.2 second sized frame kind of thing....

one last thing, you may realise that this this song was performed in stage for the first time in A4....and the costume changed, from frilly coloured dresses, to white two-piece with coloured laces/ribbons depending on the member, just look at my blog title pic, you'll see^^

well, let us begin, her hair, from the progression, (check the photos which i will put up down there), we can see that she starts with a short-hair tomboy kind of hairstyle, continuing to the neck-long-mild-girl hairstyle, and the present-shoulder-length hair. just compare her appearance in Skirt, Hirari and her appearance in the recent H1/H2 compare to the past appearances, now she's more feminine, cuter, and more adorable^^

she is definitely one of the top members, usually pairs up with takamina (Takahashi Minami), well, this could be seen from the fact that up to now, she has been in every single, including the newest (and unfortunately) mobile-exclusive release, Baby! Baby! well, let's start, first of all, about the PV, the PV is about Yoshinari and Miura both sitting on a wooden chair, playing their guitar as usual, that WAS my first impression, going on with the song, when it is about to enter the chorus, suddenly miura, when the screen was closed up on his white sneakers, float up to the sky, slowly.... i was like (O.O wth??!?!?!) wow. really did not expect something like that, well, that how it is and it ends with the camera closed up on yoshiari's black-coloured formal shoes.

now, the song, the same standard of the previous songs, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, PERFECTO, etc etc etc... i mean come on, yoshinari, playing the chords, and miura with the melody, what could be better, observe the chorus, when the chorus starts, that tune that you hear, i suppose you should also be able to hear a slight sound of a C chord, well yeah, the main one was yoshinari, and miura playing the chords, when i tried to do the cover, at first i thought that there were something wrong with it, but as i continue, it harmonize really well in a unique way, try listening carefully for the early chorus part, how they compose the song, oh man, it's just too much.

well, if you notice, from all her appearances and photos, "that" particular part of the hair, always forms the "triangle" shape kind of thing (except in harunyan's private video, where both, harunyan and hiichan was talking about doll hairstyle), and uniquely, it is almost precisely 180 degrees above her left eye (the right one for our view). well, thats one, second, i love her unique-2/3dragged-2/5unclear-high pitched-cute voice. just unique, although, if it's concerning cuteness of voice, tomomi-chan still owns, but, she's one of the best (in my opinion). third, i also like her cute-petite lips^^ just adds to the complete beautiful pack^^. next, in my opinion, the category of beauty that she falls into (according to my point of view) is the "beautiful-pretty-charming-kind-of-thing-and-not-to-the-cute-category" however, she displays herself in a way that makes her appear more to cute rather than pretty. okay, now some facts, she was in the first two singles of AKB48, Sakura no Hanabiratachi, and Skirt, Hirari. another VERY sad fact about her, she hold three stand-by roles in the himawarigumi, H1:Itoshisa no Defense (stand-by for Sato Natsuki{Nacchi}) H2: Hajimete no JELLY BEANS (again, stad-by for Nacchi) , H2: BYE! BYE! BYE! (stand-by for Takahashi Minami{Takamina}). i mean come on ..... someone this beautiful only holds the role of a stand-by??? the world is just not so fair....: (

now.. the review....
first of all, my very first impression, ZOMG!!!!! uber nice camera effectsss!!!!! (i'll explain later on)
in my opinion, this was the first PV with the sad aura. maybe some people would think like "how about sakura no hanabiratachi???" well, in my opinion, there was a bit of sad tone in it but, not the same kind of sadness, that one is more to.....touched??? well, in this PV it's somehow like, a melancholic, deep, agony sad kind of thing. the PV starts with a few phrases like "you are not a bird" continues on with Yuko on top of a building, then the music starts and change to the phone LCD. well, one thing i like about this PV is that, the dance, i see it like, expressing deep sadness in just a few simple, small moves, like the dance begins with a "shoulder move" then the robot-like body move, and so on, i just love the dance. next, the music, consists of a WIDE range of instruments, violins, electric techno drums, flute (one of the most significat in the song), there were a very short guitar part, during the "mou ganbatte mo" part, only a few strings though, btw, it's acoustic guitar. next thing, the "hand-click-sound" just before the chorus, OMG that really creates the mood and timing, it's just amazing...next thing, the role divison, throughout the whole song, there will always be parts where there were only a few member sings, another part is where the whole group sings, and some parts were solo, the voices chosen was amazing i must say. as i said earlier, THE CAMERA EFFECT OWNSSS, SO SKILLED!!! "why?" why? well let me tell you, for example, the most significant one, before the second reff./chorus during "Doushiyou mo nai koto..." during the flute-notes-spamming part, where the camera angle was a bird's view (in case you don't know it means angle looking down like from a bird's point of view) the suddenly the camera was tilted and shaken a bit omg, in my opinion, this really goes well with the flute-riff.
Unfortunately, there WERE things that i don't really like, (read carefully, don't REALLY like, not REALLY don't like) for example, the fpm (derived from fps which means frame per second fpm means, frame per member) some members were only viewed for a very short while, there were 1,5 seconds for maimai, 2,5 seconds for rinatin, 2 seconds for tomochin, and the others, most of the time, the camera was focused on, acchan, takamina, kojiharu, and korisu

first of all, im doing her profile because from what i've observed, a LOT of people, considerably as much as Maimai's fans, like her, and in my opinion, she is also one of the member who sometimes is the spotlight of the show. second point, from the TV show "Music Fighter" on 11th of november 2005, which was during aitakatta! release time. In this show, 10 members was invited, including Harunyan, or known to some people, Kojiharu. Each member were interviewed for a short while about a little bit of their life. from harunyan's interview and from the whole show, i can conclude that she displays a "blur" personality. for example, during one of the quizzes, AKB48 members were asked about a clothing style from the 70s, which answer was "bodycon" she answered "I saw the costume sold at Tokyu Hands". another one, when AKB members were asked about what would a the MC's boyfriend(the name of the MC was Aoki something) say after Aoki received her first kiss, and harunyan answered "Aoki-san what are you aiming for recently?". Despite these facts, i still like her as it is. third fact, she is VERY close to Komatani Hitomi, or Hii-Pinku, this can be seen from her Private Video and other shows, she displays quite a strong friendship towards her. and in my opinion, both of them are almost alike. fourth fact. her hairstyle, if you notice from the photos, which i will put up later on, she has almost a same hairstyle throughout the years, the only different hairstlyes i've ever seen was: in skirt, hirari PV, her hairstyle was ponytail but still with the same pony in front, next is Team A 4th stage: Tadaima Renaichuu, we can clearly see, especially during, Love chase, that there is another change in her hairstyle, now, its long, wavy, pigtails again with the same pony in front, i personally like her hairstyle during BINGO! and Kimi ga Oshiete (still A's 4th stage) where she wore a green beret, in my opinion it matches her very much. Fifth fact, out of all the members, some people think that she is one of the members who stayed quite the same from the beginning, the only difference is, now she'sone of the top members. Last fact, she was in all PVs up to now and she also performed in H1 stage: Boku no Taiyo, here, she performed in the some of the songs, but my personal favourite was Boku to JULIET to JETCOASTER. again here witht the same hairstyle as now.

SKY! SKY! SKY!......
well, this one sounds like something happy and energetic again, especially with the presence of the three exclamation marks... and yeah, this one's amazing, with not so complicated guitar techniques, produced such an amazing sound... well, ok, now the reviews, this song starts with a very short-high-note riff, continues with chord playing until the end. this song, in my opinion is very fast-paced and again, energetic, even from the intro, this song was already very fast paced, i had some trouble doing the cover, but now this one is the cover i master the most. in a glance, if compared to START, this one sounds a lot harder. however, seen from the video and from own experience, this ones uses simple techniques a more speed and thanks to the arrangement of the song, this produces an amazing song, whereas for START, requires an amazing skill and technique to produce a considerably worth song compared to this one. in this one, again, yoshinari (in case you forget, the one with the black-colored hair and whose guitar have a lizard insignia on it) plays the main guitar for the chorus, difference compared to START is, in this song, yoshinari plays as the lead guitar almost throughout the whole song, except for intro, bridge, and outro. I've seen a cut scene of the PV, but the PV itself is very hard to find in the internet. one more info, for full experience and pleasure in doing the cover, please use an acoustic guitar, i tried most of the songs with my one and only classical guitar, and it doesn't sound as it is supposed to be. so, use an acoustic guitar, except if you don't have.

lets start a start with...start

Start

well, as the name suggest, this was the first depapepe i've ever heard. the PV shows flashes of activities done during the day, for example, breakfast, cycling, and others, the song gives the impression to me that the word "start" IS there, as you can hear, the song starts with a simple set of three different notes, played by both, this was the intro, the continues with an energetic chords playing by yoshinari and a medium-paced melody playing by miura. for me, the connection between the intro and the chorus gives the impression of a start to something. the outro of the song, which ends the song was also the same three notes played during the intro. although this may give the impression that the song pace was : low-high-low. which may mean:start-main-end, but in my opinion, the choice of notes and rhythm makes it as if it is not the end, the tone is still happy and energetic. hence, start. One more fact about this duo, you may think that miura was always the guitar lead, but no. both of them change their roles in the song, for example, this song, for the intro to chorus, miura was lead guitar, but for the chorus, yoshinari was. this is one of the main factors why i like this duo, because everytime i'm doing their cover, i can choose just one, and i can roughly hear the song already.

I personally like the music, but again, same case as Skirt, Hirari, its the lyrics...
for example:

come on man...
well, fortunately, the PV itself isn't too "suggestive"
as in it's a nice dance i must say,
and cool design of clothes, i like the "half-tucked-out-shirt" design
it's kinda depicts naughtiness and coolness...

again, i must say, it is not wrong to arrange this kind of lyrics for this kind of song, and i have no rights to defend myself, but again, this is just my personal opinion...

this very album was the first one...
the first AKB48 song that i've ever heard...
it was Aitakatta!....
this thing sure leave a lot of memory behind...
hha...
okay, over with the emotion part...
now...the review!!!

compared to the two previous album,
this was a lot more happier!!!
you can see the girls doing the dance, jumping, smiling...
oh what a cheerful aura...^^
another thing i like is that there's a lot
(and when i say a lot it means A LOT)
closeups...
it kinda took me 4-5 times of watching the whole thing before
i finally able to recognize each and every member without fail in this pv...

if you notice...
the PV starts AND ends with the appearance of Atsuko Maeda aka. Acchan
at first it was her with her bike than her closeup then she nodding...
at the end was she walking hurrily down a corridor with the CD
so basically, i think that there is a bit of storyline in the PV,
agree?
compared to the two previous PV,
Sakura no Hanabiratachi was dance+ a short description of backstage activities...
Skirt, Hirari was dance....and the "swoosh" or "flying skirt" move....(/swt...)
